Why Purple Guy was always
Crying Child's Father

This all initially started with a hunch I've had for a while that FNAF 4's original story was a lot closer to the current story than we thought.

Most theorists believe that Crying Child and Foxybro originally had no connection with Purple Guy, and that Mike Afton and Crying Child Afton were later retcons from Sister Location. However after thinking about it for a while I think there's a lot of really strong evidence to believe that Purple Guy was always supposed to be Crying Child's father.

I want to first lead with a question. Where are Crying Child and Foxy Bro's parents?




Seriously where are these kids parents? We never see them at home once. Even if we only see a slice of Crying Child's life you'd still expect to see the parents at home at least once. The implication seems to be that Foxybro is the one watching Crying Child all day while the parents are elsewhere.
